GET INVOLVED

 

Get involved and get moving with Parkinson’s.  There are many studies showing the benefits of social interaction and movement in Parkinson’s.  Do not become a recluse in your own home – this is not beneficial.

​

  • Come to a Support Group in your area and meet other people.

  • Listen to the various speakers and learn more about managing your Parkinson’s.

  • Join an activity group. There are many available that are beneficial – dance, tai-chi, singing, PD Warrior etc.

 

Find out from the group what is available in your area. Social outings with the group are also arranged from time to time.
